|1 to 2 onions, thinly sliced, julienne style or minced||3 to 4 cloves of garlic, minced|
|2 to 4 tbs ghee or coconut oil||sea salt, to taste|

Place onions in saute pan with ghee or coconut oil, garlic, and salt. As the onions begin to sweat, allow them to begin to develop color. As the pan dries, add a bit of bone broth to deglaze the bottom of the pan. Continue this process over medium to high heat until the onions have properly caramelized (about 15 to 20 minutes). Reserve for later use.
