“Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Service and love are two of the main ideals that drive what we do here at bonebroth.com. While there is nothing wrong with robust profits if they are acquired with integrity, providing service and love ALWAYS takes precedent.
We are firm on our stance that only ACTUAL bone broth is shown to provide the healing benefits documented in studies. There has been no clinical research on the derivative bone broth products out there (K-cups, bone broth powders, bone broth protein, bone broth pills). These products are no longer a healing FOOD.
One of our themes for this year is TRANSPARENCY. We are currently in the costly process of renewing “organic” certification of all of our products. This ensures you, our valued customers, that we continue to make our bone broth with only the highest quality ingredients
We are transparent about the source of our bones, our water, our vegetables and herbs, and our method. And we are willing to spend the money on the certification process to substantiate that for our customers’ piece of mind. We do not use descriptions such as “natural flavors” in our ingredient list, because we have nothing to hide. To glean a little of the actual bone broth process, please watch this short video.
In the words of Chef Lance during a candid midnight monologue:
Knowing that my consciousness is connected to the consciousness of all other beings, and the consciousness of my product affects its efficacy, we have some things to stand by- like Love is the Ultimate Spice.
And to me, love means all these things I’ve stated before: Process, tradition, organic, water, ingredients, you know, truth in labeling, and just being transparent and being available to stand up with integrity.
You know, I’ve always said integrity will never fail you, and it’s because when someone comes to look at you or your product and asks, “Hey, man, what are you doing here?,” you never have to worry, because you know what you stand for.
And when you stand before your fellow human beings, you’re looking into the eyes of God, basically. Your trees, your planet, your coworkers, your friends, your family, your son, your daughter, your animals, your teachers, your mentors, your parents, your past relatives and the connectivity between all of us. And you’re available to be seen for what you really are- because you’ve been transparent.
