Love is The Ultimate Spice!
|1 cup TFC Organic Chicken Bone Broth or TFC Organic Beef Bone Broth||1 tbsp + 1 tsp coconut oil|
|2¼ lbs coarsely ground turkey||1 red bell pepper, finely chopped|
|2-3 tbsp chili powder||1 green bell pepper, finely chopped|
|1 tbsp smoked paprika||1 small jalapeño chile pepper, seeded and finely chopped|
|2 tsps ground cumin||3 cloves garlic, minced, or ½ tsp garlic powder|
|1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, drained||1 large sweet onion, finely chopped|
|1 can (6 oz) tomato paste||1½ tsps sea salt|
|¼ tsp ground black pepper|
Warm the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the bell peppers, jalapeno pepper, garlic, and onion. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for about 10 minutes, or until tender. Add the turkey, chili powder, paprika, and cumin and gently stir, trying not to break up the meat. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the meat is no longer pink. Ad the tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Cover and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, partially covered, for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
