Sassy Green Smoothie Recipe!

This is a light, slightly sweet smoothie that's easy on the digestive system. It makes a great breakfast when your appetite is light and you don't want something heavy in your system. It also makes an ideal snack for late afternoon, when you're hungry and want something to tide you over till dinner, but don't want to ruin your appetite. The spices are good for balancing blood sugar, improving digestion, weight loss, eye health, fighting fungal and bacterial infection, heart health, regulating cholesterol, and reducing inflammation. Sassy Green Smoothie Recipe

2 cups lettuce (such as romaine or red leaf) ¼ – ½ cup flat parsley
1 Granny Smith apple ¼ cup coconut butter
2 tbsp TFC Organic Beef Bone Broth 2 heaping tbsp goji berries
1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp fennel
1 tsp enugreek ½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp cloves (for added digestive support) 2 tsp – 1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp molasses 1 – 4 drops stevia (in each glass when served)


Put all ingredients, except the optional sweeteners, into your blender and blend well. Taste the smoothie and decide if you want to add one of the sweeteners. Mix thoroughly and serve.

Store extra in your refrigerator and consume over the next day or two.

Serving suggestions:

Serve as is - no embellishments needed! If you like, squeeze a few drops of fresh lemon juice or a couple drops of Urban Moonshine citrus bitters into your glass for flavor and added digestive support.
